Was their ever a 15x9 steel wheel made that will fit a mav ? I really like the look of steel wheels ( kinda like a sleeper ) but i want something that looks a bit deeper. I want it to be tucked so i can lower the car down a bit. I no 10 in wide wont fit and be tucked so i was just thinking about a 9 in. Thanks

There are places that will build you what you want. Stockton Wheel was one of them, but unfortunately they are no longer.

Bolt pattern for the Crown Vic is the same. The set I pulled had pretty much perfect backspacing too. 15x8 if memory serves me correctly.

They may have been narrower, haven't had them for awhile. Good thing is you can go to a junkyard and have your pick pretty easily. I think I paid $12 a wheel for mine.

If memory serves the Crown wheels dont have the center to fit the dog dish if you were looking for that??

Lots of places to widen factory 15x6 wheels though.

Crown Vic wheels from the 80's to '97 were 15X7s, 98-to-02's were 16X7's. Aluminums, steels and cop wheels

Wheel Vintiques sells reproductions of many popular Ford wheels (Magnum 500's GT and Rallys) in 14, 15, 16, and 17 inch diameters, and in many widths

They also sell reproductions of other make's wheels (Corvette Rallys) and standard steelies in various diameters and widths with Ford car and truck bolt patterns

There's a guy a near here with a 67 Mustang running Wheel Vintiques 17X7 and 17X8 Corvette Rally rims, and the chevy style dog dish hubcaps, except with the Ford logo on them (also from WV)

I've got one of their catalogs, but it's about 4 years old
