I've been searching around for a smaller diameter steering wheel for my '77 Maverick.

Specifically the Mustang II or Maverick Stallion wheels, but no luck. I did find a similar wheel out of a 1980 Mustang that fit, but the center piece was disintegrated and I didn't see provisions for a horn.

Another candidate was a what looked like to be a 85-86 Mustang with an SVO-type wheel, but it didn't have a splined shaft connector. I thought about cutting out the splined shaft connector from the damaged '80 wheel and welding it into the later Mustang steering wheel, but wasn't sure if a welding place would do this.

Anybody come across other wheels that fit? I'm not really interested in an aftermarket wheel, most of the Grants don't do anything for me, and Momos are way too expensive.
