OK fellow Texans [and anybody else who would like to attend]:

We are going to have our Regional Mini-meet this year at the 3rd Annual All Ford Roundup in Waco, Texas at the Bird-Kultgen Ford Dealership on September 13th, 2003.

[It looks like it has been a really great show and due to conflicts in schedules we haven't been able to arrange to have our meet there].

For more information on the event: 2003 REGIONAL MINI-MEET IN TEXAS or e-mail me.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU CAN ATTEND!! If we get enough Mavericks/Comets to come to the show, they will create our own Maverick/Comet class! I need to tell the folks running the show how many cars are showing!

I wonder how far a drive that would be from Florida. I've gotta attend one out of state meet this year lol. Hmmm if my dad and I could both get off work. I'd love to be able to see some of your cars Doug.

It would be about 1300 miles to Waco, TX from home, Chrissy. It would be neat if you made it, but you would see lots more cars at the Roundup than you would here at our Texas meet. (Even if I drove all my cars there)! :D

So what might be a FUTURE car for me, Craig, aka Great Swammy?

Will: I wanted to try a new venue to increase participation AND get more cars at the show. I'll try and make it up there for the FFW if I can. Unfortunately, Fun Ford has moved their show up to the next weekend (6/20-21) instead of October like it used to be. If there is enough interest, maybe we could have an informal meet.

Is your car going to be ready on the 13th? Looking forward to seeing it!

Isn't Waco, Tx where all that cult stuff happened? Hey Doug are you starting a Mav/Comet cult? Worshipping the Ford gods lol. I wish I could make it to the roundup but I know that won't happen, but Septembers far enough off there's more chance of getting off work and having one of the cars ready for a long trip. The Comet's in bad shape right now.

Oh, yes, the Branch Davidians staring David Koresh! Funny, I'd almost forgotten about that.

Well yall are welcome to come out here for the meet. Hope to have a good show! [No fires, though].:D
