Very nice Buick. I would have a hard time letting my Maverick go for a Buick, but then again, it is a 'vert, and in very good shape. Tough decision!

If you get the Lark, and you get lots of money, Year One is now making the parts to turn that body style into a GSX clone.

My friend Tim has a 455 Stage 1 GSX

It is a bad arse ride!!!!

We used to eat every body up on the streets in that beast. it had 3.31 gears and it would crank to 140 mph no problem.

    Street racing is evil;)

I would do it...For nothing else than you can get parts for it and it will easily accept a big block.

But then I am only a "Ford man" because this is what I had access to. Always wanted a Chevelle...

If I remember correctly (that's a long shot), I seem to remember the GSX being described as a car that you could drive 140 mph all day long and not get tired. The 1970 GSX 455 would outrun the LS6 Chevelle in the 1/4. I think the GSX ran 13.8 right from the showroom.

yea, i'd probably do it. i never been much of a vert man, but then again i never been much of a ford man either

and buicks are kinda like the mavericks of the GM world so its cool :)

keep in mind thats a BUICK 350, not a chitty 350. totally diffrent ball game. and IMO a much better ball game. hopefully your a fan of low end tq

From what I see on the bidding, he is going to want you to give him a hellava lot of boot to trade. I doubt he will trade with you for less than $5000 boot......most people that own any GM car that old, especially a convertable, think it is worth a arm and a leg and the family jewels!

    In a skinny minute.

I'd be in that Buick faster than he could sign the paperwork. Matter of fact, I'd do the paperwork while sitting in it revving the engine.

I'd rather have the maverick. I just don't care for most GM cars

His ran a 13 flat. It had a a Demon carb, Larger cam and that's it. Add gears and some slicks mow 12's easy. Yes it did go 140mph. We got clocked at that speed racing an acura NSX:D
