    Will a 78 ford thunderbird am/fm radio fit my 77 maverick?

    I would imagine as long as they are both chassis style radios (two knob) then yeah I dont see any reason why it shouldnt fit. Radios tend to be pretty standard

    Yes, it will. Any Ford shaft type radio from about 1970 and up from
    any Ford product except 70 LTD's will fit. I have a AM/FM mono
    from a 84 F/250 in my Stallion that was a direct fit. The reason the
    LTD's won't fit is because they were curved to fit the dash and both
    control knobs are on the same side of the radio.
