ok, just finished paying of my mav and the kid only had their renewal for registration.so, i have that and the bill of sale, is there anyway i could go to my tax office and still change the title over?im not sure what the laws are in texas.
I live in california, but I assume the rules for texas are somewhat similar. If you go to whatever dept. that is responsible for title transfers and registration, you should be able to pick up a vehicle transfer sheet, or a sheet for lost pink slips, and you both fill that out. If you don't get the proper paper work, you will have to go right back again to the kid for his signature.
