I would like to put together a monthly chat session with all of the state reps. How many of you would be interested?

You can count me in!! It would be best for me if it were sometime in the early evening after work, that way I can stay at work and use the cable connection there. But if that's not possible, I can just use the laptop at the house with the phone line connection....

Is it a '71 Maverick or is it a Mopa......
That idea is all fine and good, BUT, how are you gonna be able to get everyone together with different time zones and people who work different shifts? Good idea though but fill us in some more...

Well ... I was thinking of using Yahoo Chat. I can go in create a privite room and let everyone join. I would like to have it on the same day of every month, for example the 1st Saturday of the month at lets say 7 pm e.s.t. or what ever time works for the majority of the reps. We could make it a privite room, if everyone would create a user name that can be easly recognized as an MCCI rep, for example: MCCI_PA_Rep that way we could invite only the MCCI Reps into the room for discussion. OR we could make it a open room and ignore the rif raf that we don't want to hear from. It will take a little work, but it would give us a chance to discuss club matter and event in a real time forum with out having to wait for a message board. It would also be privite so we wouldn't air our "dirty laundry" to non members. I think WE as state reps need to do a little more share of work for the club. It may take sometime to work out all of the bugs, but if we never try it how are we going to know if it's going to fail. I signed on to yahoo chat last night and set up a room in a matter of minutes. If we set a time, I will creat a room 15 mins before start time to make sure it is up a running. Russ

All sounds good to me. I think using yahoo chat would be the easiest, so would making screennames identifying each rep.
