tranny question

    74 2door - Small bumpers, 5.0 EFI, Tremec 3550, disc brake 8.8,MII front end, boosted
    If my c4 transmission is a manual, as in used to be a 3 on the tree. Does this mean that it has a manual valve body?

    Nope. Manual valve bodies are like a manual transmission without the clutch. The trans will only run in the gear selected. It no longer shifts automatically.

    For extra info, there was a C4S option transmission one year 1970 that had a manuel valve body from the factory that had to be shifted manually. These units had no vacuum controlled modulator, internal govenor or kickdown linkage.
