Bought a 67 Fairlane with 390. Got a C6 completely rebuilt with mild shift kit installed built by reputable shop. The car is a factory 4 speed car so found a top loader 4 speed tag is RUG J2 W2 which is correct numbers for a fairlane so it would be numbers matching, it is not rebuilt but plate removed and inspected and each gear turned and checked. He wants 650 for it and was interested in my rebuilt c6. Question is what is C6 worth in dealing on the top loader? Also top loader reads rug-j2-w2 what is the w2 for. Need quick advice as Earl Branham and i are going to look at it in the morning. Thanks in advance.
