I would suggest two things, the vent on top ot the trans is clogged causing excess pressure or more than likely the vibrations in the engine etc. are causing it. Some dipsticks will not fit tight in the tube for one reason or another and maybe a new one would help. Normally if the vent is plugged it will also force fluid out the front or rear seals and any other faulty gaskets or seals. Will also cause foaming of the fluid and will lead to trans damage. Some other internal damage may be involved also, but this is just my opinion on it.

    Vent

Usually it is on top of the tailshaft housing, small round cap that sits on a vent tube and should rotate freely. About 1/4in rd and sits maybe 1/4in high. Have found them caked with crud in older vehicles, some C4's did not have one at all. Is your's a case fill or pan fill? Dipstick tube either goes in the case itself or will go into the side of the trans oil pan. Any mods to the trans? Put a reverse manual valve body in one and it was not built right and the trans did the same thing, sent it back and got a new one and it worked. If the stick is bent and forced into the tube, there is a slight possability that a rotating mass inside is catching it and forcing it out. Just a few guesses of mine though.
