I have A '70 model grill in my car (no lights), and I have A cool '77 grill with lights that I'm thinking about using.
I have seen the lights in the grill referred to as "grill lights", "fog lights" and "sport lamps". What is the difference ? Which are these?

I've seen them with lenses amber or clear, textured or smooth. I'm confused and I'm going to go rest now.

73-77 they were turn signals (amber lens), 71-72 Grabber they were Sports lamps (clear lens) the turn signal light was under the bumper. 71-74 used a different light bucket than the 75-77. The "cross hair" door bolts up different on the 75-77. 76-77 didn't come with cross hair door. The LDO got chrome light bezel, Grabber got black others got Argent color

    Thank you Jeff.
That is exactly the info I was looking for.
I like the look with the lights in the grill, but "sport" is not the first thing I think of when I look at these.
They are also mounted too high to be most effective for fog lights. I think, anyway.
