Turn Signal Lever

    In the 12+ years my Maverick sat (sorry guys!) I had the ignition keys hanging on the turn signal lever, at least I knew where they ere! Now the lever droops and I constantly have the left signal on!! Any easy fix? Scott

    sweet talk somebody who is goin junkin to pick up another turn signal switch. state year of car ( kinda looks like you may want one from a 1970)

    Sounds like you have a NASCAR Mav now...you can only make left turns. Heavy key rings also can screw up the ignition switch over time.

    The lever is fine, is there a spring on the end of it that goes bad? It is drooping down and causing the problem. Is it necessary to replace the whole unit to get the problem fixed? Or do I have to give up draggin and goes NASCAR like Wes suggested? Scott

    actually, it kinda sounds like you "sprung " the plastic springie thing...gotta yank the steering wheel and try to bend it back into shape. good luck. if you don't have success lemme know soon. i am mav junkin this weekend.
