I have a 1973 Maverick 4 door with a 302 V8 engine and my turn signals do not work properly. When i go to turn left or right both blinkers come on and just stay solid. If i put my hazard lights on then both blinkers will blink. Can someone tell me what my problem is and how to fix it.

A common problem. You need to clean the sockets and bulbs of each light. This should fix your problem. I have been through this. If your lights blink real slow especially with the radio or lights or rear def. or A/C on then you need a higher amp alternator. A 60-65 amp alternator should be just right for most applications.

Also, grounds will cause this. Find all the ground wires that are screwed to the chassis and remove, clean, and reattach.
