has anyone ever had any experience with the Mallory Unilite distributor? It is an optical module distributor, that i currently have hooked up to a Holley Annihilator ignition box. I was curious to whether or not it is possible to simply eliminate the annihilator box, and just have the unilite module powering the coil. if anyone has any suggestions, it would help.

    ...the distributor powering the coil?

I believe you have some wires crossed. The coil fires the distributor. I know nothing about your box but the unilite will run and fire properly off of a stock coil. Be sure to use the ballast resistor or you will burn the distributor up and it costs around $100 to replace the damaged part.

    Good Luck-

Your Unilite module should be able to trigger the coil. But of course you won't have as strong a spark without the box. Does the box work ok?
