Variable rocker arm geometry

    Looks like a great idea, but just increasing the valve lift isn't going to net a huge gain. The duration won't change much, therefore the gains/losses would be, IMO, minimal (for the effort/money/time to install). I have an idea myself that actually changes the exhaust lobe timing in relation to the intake lobe on the camshaft itself, but don't know whether I'll ever be able to do anything with it. That's how true VVT works, the actual valve opening/closing times are changed...on a motorcycle engine we work on, the exhaust camshaft is advanced slightly at startup/low speeds..but retards slightly as rpm passes 10,000. Makes great torque (for it's small displacement), yet will still pull hard to 16,500. Neat idea, though!
