Many of you may have been around for my previous Maverick questions.
I appreciate any assistance given, I look forward to joining the crowd in the future.
My questions today are, has anyone gone fuel-injected, and what is the cost of getting that tuned in on a dyno..

Same question for yourself. How does FI make the Maverick different to drive.

First, no gas smell in the garage anymore. No bucking at low rpm (depends on your cam and other things if this is a problem). Better acceleration, unlike when you floor the pedal in a 4 barrel car that goes for a period of time on the primaries until the secondaries open, all 4 barrels of the EFI open at the same time. And the fuel mixture is always right. Compensates automatically for barometric changes (weather and altitude). Can make tuning changes in seconds just by pushing a few buttons instead of draining gas from a carb, disassembling, trial and error testing, etc. And, if you want to use them, has built-in ignition and electric fan controls. Took some learning, especially for an old carb guy like myself. There is more that can go wrong, too, but many modern systems go many tens or hundreds of thousands of miles without issues.

Those are all very good reasons for EFI, glad to hear your happy with your setup. I'll bet that car is a blast to drive, sounds like a great drivetrain combination. I am looking into the FAST EZ-EFI 2.0, is anyone running this system?
