I am driving my uncles dodge pickup and there has been a small spot of anti-freeze under it every time it has been driven. All the hoses are in good shape and dry, so I don't think those are the problem. It is accumulating on the bottom of the crank balancer and then dripping to the ground. This makes me think it is the water pump. I can't find the weep hole. Do water pumps make any kind of noise when they are going bad? How will know, what will it do, when it goes bad? Thanks

Sounds like the pump to me. Most likely the leak will just get worse but, i have saw a few just fall totaly apart and leave you on the side of the road. And never make any noise untill it goes.

They squeal when the bearing goes bad but just drip when the seal goes out. Better find that weep hole, might need a mirror to see it.
