Anyone have any pics of portable tool carts they use and maybe a portable welding cart/station? I would like to build the welding cart with the welder on the bottom of it but could do them separate.

I can get one later this evening.
I bought a hard plastic one (might be fiberglass) at Northern tools and cut a hole in the top tray big enough to fit around the tank. The tank is secure and sits on the lower tray. Gives me a parts tray top and a place on the bottom to put the 110 welder.

Here's the one I bought. The hole I cut I did towards the back away from the handles.

I do have to use 2x4s under the welder so the side access door will clear the tray side. I didn't mount them or screw them down cause there really is no need to. I can take the welder with me and not have to take something apart to grab it and go. OR I just load the whole cart bottle and all..

I have the same exact one at the shop, 2 of them that we bought so that we would have one per project we are working on it. It's really solid.

This design type has two models. This is the smaller of the two. The other is rather big for a garage IMO.. But it would have more work/parts space. It is pretty solid. I looked for awhile for something and this is what I decided was the best deal for the money.. Those welder rolling stands are nice but that's pretty much all they are. For about the same I have a top and feels alot more secure as far as the bottle or tipping..

We have the ultimate, ultra sturdy metal work table at work. It is the overhead cage from an old forklift.

Like this? I have since mounted a shielding gas bottle on the end.

I have the standard welding cart from Miller, buy my 4x4' welding table is from a fab shop. It weighs close to 500# so I can put almost anything on it. The top is 1/2" plate steel

I just picked this one up a couple weeks ago. Harbor Freight, $40 or so, if I remember correctly. I have the same hobart that predfan has in his picture above, bottle straps to the back.
