Well yesterday my friend in his 2007 F150 on 35's and me in my 1990 F150 on 33's decided to go muddin. It was goin well until I hit this big nasty hole that just swallowed my truck up. My friend then tried to pull me out in reverse, but with no luck. As he is turning around to pull me out in a forward gear, he gets caught up in a deep rut and then he is also stuck. Luckily, our friend came by in his Grand Cherokee and he first pulled out my friend then they both hooked to me and my truck was finally free after 3 hours. This was my first wheelin trip, and I enjoyed it even though I got stuck pretty good.

Yeah I really want to lift it with 35's, but I think a locker out back and a good LS up front will help out tremendously with a good set of 33's. Right now its got open diffs front and rear and bald mud tires.

My F150 has 31s and a lift with dual positrack, it pulls like an ox on meth. Man it's great to bash through a good mudhole once in a while.

Yeah sucks muddin in a 2 wheel drive get the locker first that way you atleast have a 3 wheel drive. Thats one advantage jeeps have over fords alot of them came from the factory with atleast limited slip standard.

yeah mudding can be fun but if you use it for driving also then you need to at least hose down every part immediately afterward and check stuff regularly. also have money for the parts you break... just like boating it turns into a money pit.

Yeah we went to the car wash right after we got off the trail to clean the trucks, especially the undercarriage.

The pics don't really do it justice, but it was deep enough to get my truck stuck. What happened was I went into it straight, like in those pics, but there was a rut or hole underneath that threw the truck sideways. Those pics are after my buddy pulled me straight.

I am planning on getting a 4x4 like yours and wondered how well it did. The 69 would get stuck on wet grass so anything is an improvement.

Had a 72 shortbed, with a 360 and a 3 speed with a granny low, thats one of the best four wheel drives I had.
