what is this part?

    ready to drop the 302 in but need help.what is the part called that screws into the side of the block,that the eq bar slides onto?if my memory still works it has a piece of felt,with a plastic ball,held on by a c-clip?does anyone know of a company that sells this part,or does anyone have a used one lying around they would want to sell?thanks for any suggestions.drive safe...chuck.:bananaman

    CJ poney parts or any Mustang supply house carries them. If I recall correctly, you have to get the one for a big block to get the correct size for the 302 z bar

    dennis,i'll be using my old z-bar from the 200 six three on the tree setup.would the bigblock part work on the six z-bar?

    No, you'll need the smaller diameter one.

    They call it an equalizer bar mount, engine side.

    Unless you are going to do some fabricating....you will need a z-bar from a V-8 Maverick as well.
