    C4

Does it have a metal tag attached to the servo with codes of PEE-PEF etc.? This is what will give the most accurate info on what internal and what applications are. If there is no tag then it is a bit of a toss up because of possable different rebuild procedures. It will fit just about any Ford C4 application but the bell housing and flexplate combo must match. ie 157 tooth flex with small housing and 164 tooth with large housing. Must also see if it has a 26 spline input shaft or a 24, depending on intended use, there were 3-4-or 5 disc foward clutch drums plus a zillion other minor mods made to these little buggers. But as said before the little tag can decipher all this, otherwise an internal look see is the only positive way. Most cases though, it can be used for general replacement on Fords if the bell housing and spline count match the flex plate and converter. The shifting lever and kickdown lever also may be a bit different for different vehicles also. The codes on the case are of little value other than year of mfg. and case used, etc. Hope this helps a little.
