I lost the bolt that holds the top alternator bracket in place. It bolts into the block of a 250 engine. Things have been really busy around here lately, and I thought would throw the question out there for anyone who can answer it to save myself a little time. Where is the best place to pick up a replacement? Hardward store? Just a FYI, the car is a non A/C car.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I am not sure of the answer to you question, but I just pulled a 250 6cyl out of a car and will be parting it out, so if you want that bolt, let me know.

Craig, thanks I may take you up on it if I do not get an answer. It sounds silly to ask, but with my schedule right now I don't have much spare time to track things down etc. So your help it very much appreciated!!!

I am driving the car right now, and the belt keeps loosening up, and squealing without that top bolt that fell out somewhere.
