Does anyone know of a source for windlace for Mavericks and Comets?

On a Maverick it is attached to the weatherstrip.

So the plastic windlace and the door weatherstrip were actually one part?

The Roof Rail Weatherstripping/Windlace that goes from kick panel up along the roof and back down pillar is reproduced by many vendors, AutoKrafters, Melvin's, eBay etc., only available in black. Every so often you can still locate NOS in various colours. Every rubber weatherstripping for our Mav/Comets are now reproduced.
