Here is an NOS 1969 Ford Torino grill that recently ended on ebay. $1525 baby!!! http://cgi.ebay.com:80/ebaymotors/w...220224666055&ssPageName=ADME:B:EF:MOTORS:1123
It's too old to pull up the sold price in my feedback, but I sold the headlight doors-NOS to go with that grill. I think I got $175 for the set about 2 yrs. ago. Where was that buyer back then???????? Seth
Yeah, Seth....that was a bargain. Since my brother has two of these cars and my good friend has two of these cars, and I have a 1968....I have always watched these parts. You should see the prices the NOS stuff fetches. The one I posted was just a sample.
You THINK NOS Torino grills are expensive... I guess you havent seen what a 71 cuda grille goes for, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Exce...ill-Mopar_W0QQitemZ290224068376QQcmdZViewItem (3800.00) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Orig...nvertible_W0QQitemZ350049415187QQcmdZViewItem (3400.00) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/71-C...PLUS-SHOW_W0QQitemZ120248714241QQcmdZViewItem (4500.00) And non of those are NOS. Totally out of control.
Ive owned 2 Fairlane 500s in the past a 68 and a 69 both with 302s and the grill (same as the torino except for the red stripe GT version) was thin aluminum on the 68 and a much thicker aluminum on the 69. This was back in 99 i had it towed to a junk yard cause I was moving and had to get rid of it fast. Did sell the 302 to someone who inquired but the rest got towed away... sheesh when i think back at all the parts. The map light and door locks went into my Maverick beforehand since they were the same part number and fit perfectly. Robin
