Is this thing just in Biloxi?
Seems like if they were "crusin' the coast" and all about the Gulf Coast, that they might make it over here once in a while...

Earl, it would be fantastic if you could make it. Sure would love to see several of the Georgia gang come down to this one. (After all, I AM making my 3rd trip up there next month:rolleyes:)

Well Dave, sorry to say but it presently just covers the Mississippi part of the Gulf Coast. And you're only 90 miles away...you need to make it over here. If you've never made it to Cruisin-The-Coast, you'll love it. I bet you'll never want to miss another one. I love this better than any one-day car show I have EVER been to. If it hadn't been for Katrina, we would have been 6000 cars strong last year. There were a lot of lost cars, but also a lot of lost hotels and stuff too so there wasn't too many places to stay. The lodging is coming back strong right now though.
If we keep getting bigger, ya never know. It might just have to expand further down the coast. It presently covers Waveland, Bay St Louis, Pass Christian, Gulfport, Biloxi, D'Iberville, Ocean Springs, and last year was the 1st time for my home town of Pascagoula. My local car club actually helped organize a free Charlie Daniels concert at our public beach park which was a tremendous success. Our club members all got back stage passes. We had an awesome time. Anyway, Charlie was the attraction that got CTC to come to Pascagoula.
    Well, better quit ramblin...gotta go.
    Please try to make it.

I will be there with the 73 whether it's done or not and Chris (grabberGT) is coming down from texas with his 72. We have reservations at the Quality Inn next to the coliseum and if my memory serves me it is a great place to watch the cruise. We always have a great time and would like to see more mavericks their.

That's awesome...looks like we're going to have a great turnout just from the few people I have heard from already. Got some of the Ga guys trying to work it out to be here. I'll add your names to the list above.
    Thanks

That would be great Preston. You got plenty of time to plan and have the car running right so start now...I'll be expecting to see you and anybody else you can get. Maybe you can get a couple more and you can cruise down here together.

Hopefully so! One buddy of mine lost his SWEET maverick to Rita. It was the coolest 4dr I've ever seen......but he just bought a 2dr from an old lady and got a few parts from me and now he's back to terrorizing Hackberry. So maybe I can get him to go. Got another friend who needs a c-4 for his 69 1/2. That's all he needs to be going, so maybe by October we can have it moving again......We'll give a try anyway! Looking forward to this!! Take care! Preston

Been a long time since I seen a cheap Grabber hood. How much are you wanting to spend on a hood?

not really wanting to spend anymore than $200-$300 if I cant find one and have to spend more I'll probably just buy a repro fiberglass one and the ability to find one near by will also depend on how much I'm willing to spend, since I'll have to borrow a truck and gas and everything else. I use to know where one was for $100, but that was way before I finally crash landed me an ole mav
