I think this is what you were looking for. I did this to my Mustang, they were only getting about 9.5 volts to the headlights w/o relay, and now they're getting full battery voltage and are 1000 times brighter than before. I highly recommend this as an upgrade. It's very simple.

Frank; I just bought all the stuff to do this, but have not done it yet. Ya want to do it Sunday, on my car? Kinda use it as a guinee pig for the rest of us. Then, we can let the others know what kind of problems we had, or didn't have. This seems like a great mod, and one that will save us a lot of headaches in the future. Let me know, and I will bring the stuff.

  earl i was going to suggest using my car but we can do yours first. i made a copy of the instructions for the "ford enthusiasts" wireing. was this the one you want to use? are you going to put the wires in a wrap or just tape them? email me your list of parts and if we need anything else i can get it on this end. will fried chicken and iced tea be o.k. for lunch? ...frank...:bananaman :bananaman

Frank; as for lunch, that is perfect. I have the two relays, a fuse block, wire (red, black, green, 14ga), connectors and a multimeter. I also have ring connectors, butt connectors, a soldering iron and that should be everything we need. All you should have to get are the relays and the fuse block and a few connectors, I have plenty of wire. See you Sunday!!!

Frank; I am going to tape the wires until I can decide how to dress them up real nice. I am using the same diagrams. This should not be too hard to do.
