    Ok guys… you told me not to be stupid so I picked up the car this weekend.

    yes it looked like this and it had not been started in 5 years. that what was under the car!:eek:

    but....

    the car was in better condition then i thought! (y) With a $25 buffer and four different types of wax / rubbing compound I ended up with a shine like this! heres before and after:clap:

    drums, master cyl and brakes were a bit rusty but still had all new internals and pads and drums were still like new! i painted them put new fluid and like the chrome master cyl cover? :D and put some new sway bar bushings in too! :bananaman

    also pulled the whole front of the engine apart... pulled the radiator, themostat, hoses, waterpump. the water wasn't even rusty.. i was shocked.. but it was pull of prestone super flush... maybe that stuff really works?!!!! :eek: the brake fluid was cleaner then the fluid in my car! :eek: i know the motor is not a nice site but i wonder what i can do in 72 hours ;)

    yeah that’s right I can’t leave things stock! :D ……… And yes all this done in 24 hours for under $150 bucks including the tow, wax / compound, and small parts i put on the and yes this includes the price of the car! ok.. wheels don’t count but I already had them. :p just on there for now untill i get some new tires for the stock rims.


    just a little incouragement for you all.... if you put your mind to it you can do it and have a few bucks it can be done! ok a little luck too! (y)

    dan this thing needs to be lowered!!!! :D but i swear i'm gonna keep i stock

    nah! but this one looked like someone threw white paint on it when i got it.. my hands still hurt from buffing... the car that is.:p
