Ruth is at a veterans group garage sale in Glendale all day and I'm leaving for Firebird at 3. Wen out second round last night. Was a tight race but I was on the wrong end. Went acroos the line by a fender and broke out. :)

He has already doen 6 years air force with 1 year in Iraq. then he got out ond came home and joined the army national guard and served another year in Iraq. Plus he was away for training and lived in tennesee for most of his Air Force years. For being 29 he has done alot. Between him and his now 2nd wife he is fine for money. But thanks for offering though.

Tony who? Is he even still around? He hasn't even made it to the track for a while. I heard he can't get a hall pass from the big boss.:D

I think he is hibernating for the summer. Not a bad idea though.

Nice work Craig, going old school on that body work.

If you have read this thread, http://mmb.maverick.to/showthread.php?t=86666, you know about my mission to get my brothers Falcon painted for a surprise for him when he comes back from a military training trip. I dropped the car off Saturday. Ill take progress pics as I can and share them. It will be gloss black so you know it has to be done right. The cost is only $2000 for a total color change. they will remove the fenders, hood, trunk, and paint all jams. And they have to remove all the trim that would normally be removed before hand if it was you or me taking a car in for ourselves. The price seems to be very reasonable. The shop did a Black 89 Mustang GT for me before and I was very happy with the result and cost of that project. If this turns out well then maybe it would help some of you that are in need of a paint job decide where to go.

Thanks Ryan. It got way too hot down here for bondo, the heat in the metal was causing it to set up too fast. With lead I can just hit it with the torch and move it around.

2Gs for a nice paint job is very reasonable for what their gonna do. Keep your fingers crossed. Unique Customs starts at 4000-12000 down here, but thier work is Show Quality.
