It is one or the other...we aren't bringing two vehicles unless I tow the mav behind the truck.

So, you grinding those drop blocks down at an angle? Never thought of that...pretty simple and straightforward though...Personally, I don't think I am to a point where I need to worry about pinion angle yet...YET!!!

I talked to Mavdog71 today. He is in Houston for the weekend and has his rig parked at I-45 and 1960. He wants to meet up with us a FFW, but cannot drive the rig there, and wants to know if anyone can pick him up.

    His cell is 951-533-9778.

Coming in from Angleton is exactly the opposite side of town, besides, we are driving Anna's convert mustang and there is no back seat to speak of.

I told him I would post his info and number and see if someone from that side of town could swing in a pick him up.

Well, I'm getting a little anxious now! Saturday* is just a few days away!! Fun Ford Weekend here we come. :yahoo:

starsky74: *We are meeting at 9 AM on Saturday morning at the raceway.

Anyone headed to FFW into Houston from the north have an extra seat? If nobody is, I suppose I could take the 610 north loop around the city and pick Mavdog71 up. (I've got to get a pretty early start coming from Austin, though).

I may drive a Maverick I bought back in 2000. It's not pretty, by all means, but it's back on the road again! (y)

Anyone else going to Baytown? Give me a call (512) 217-1115 or email me DougBauer@TexasGrabber.com if you are!

Mavdog has no internet connection, but asked if someone could call him on his cell Thursday or Friday and see if his schedule is free enough to come out Saturday.

He sounds really excited to meet some of us, and is pretty amped to catch Houston on FFW weekend:bouncy:

Thank god, I found out there will be a meeting here in Houston. I almost missed it. I will like to drive my maverick but my inspection and license plate stikers are not good.:(
I might don't care and still drive my Maverick.:) (not shure)
I will try my best to go and meet my Maverick family.
I got DAB phone # I will call him Friday. I live up north Houston by the Air Port. 59 and beltwey 8.

I hope I can make it.
