A conspiracy! Frank probably said, "Let's take the pictures while the fat guy is gone."

Hey guys...I made it back home about 1 a.m. safe and sound. Having a 4-year old with you causes quite a few stops, but it was worth it. It was a great meet and I too enjoyed talking with everyone again. I'll tell you one thing though...next year, I'll take off the following Monday too. :) I sure didn't want to get up this morning. I still have to unload the car too...oh well. Gotta get after it...see you guys. (y)

Had a great time at the meet! The weather was fine, the racing was great, and Ray took an award at the car show. I had a great time, and I'm sure everyone else did also.:)

    Dan,
I hate that you didn't get to register for the show but it might have been fortunate for me. The class I was in was just labeled as "Open" and it was for cars like Mav/Coms, Torinos, Pintos, Fairmonts, (Yes, I said Fairmonts...one got one of the awards:huh: ). In other words, open class was anything but a Mustang, Streetrod, or Truck. They only gave Top 5 awards for open and if your car had been there, I mighta got bumped out. Thanks

Notice how Dan just eased right out of making any comments on the post concerning Terry and his....ahem, shall we say physical characteristics....smooth Dan...smooth:yup: ...:biglaugh:

The only car I got to see close up (he wouldn't let me touch it:coco: ) was Rays 73' LDO...a finer specimen of an unrestored original Maverick you will not find anywhere.

j/k about the touching part;) :D

Your LDO is sweet ... perhaps we could have had 2 Mavericks bring home trophies ... not bump yours out ....

There is the connection as to why Dan didn't take mine or Tyler's pictures. He doesn't like big bumpers...whether or not they are on Maverick or a human. I knew there was a biased, subversive reason for the snub and I just found it.:tsk: Where's my lawyer?
