Do testing and initial set up in the Maverick, just to get it right.

Use a Comet for the finished product though.
They are vastly superior in every way.:bananaman

Other than that, WOW what a project! Looks great.:thumbs2::thumbs2:

Yeah, thanks so much, the stance is everything on these things.
The rear tires are 285/40 ZR17 Nitto 555's. It's the widest tire NITTO makes for a 17" x 11" rim but I built the tubs to accomodate 335 so if I can afford it someday, I'll get an 18" x 12" rim with the right backspace and huge meats but that will cost more than the rear axle and diff. together so no rush on that one. Oh and the backspace is 4 1/2" so the deep dish is 7 1/2", I really like that look.

Howdy Mr. Rayzor! You gave me some advice a month or so ago, thanks for being friendly.
I originally was going with the Ford Triton V10 but it is VERY heavy and VERY low on power. This all aluminum V10 is near the same as a fully dressed 351C that I took out of my old 70 Cougar and with $1200 in upgrades makes 625-50 reliable horsepower. So it was a bang for the buck reason for going with the Dodge so now I call it a Fordge Maverick!

Wow, I think the first thing is the shock factor in seeing that engine in a maverick. Then it goes to incredible on how everything else is set up too. Great looking car. Can't wait to see it finished.:thumbs2::thumbs2:
