I'm trying to convert my automatic to stick shift so I need the tachometer so you sell that or do you just customize them?

I still sell the Brazilian Style Tach Overlays, and the rest of the parts needed for the conversion are listed in the Instructions, earlier in this thread. I have not been doing the conversions for others at this time. PM me if you are still interested in an Overlay. Thanks for all the nice comments everyone.

Hi Dave! Yeah, I haven't been active on the forums for the past year or so, and I miss it alot. I do try to keep up with what's going on every chance I get, and I have noticed that this is still the best car forum on the web, thanks to all the great individuals in this community.

I am still looking forward to showing up to one of the MCCI National Roundups, to get to meet you, and several others.

I have been still taking forever on my Grabber restoration. The latest projects I have been working on in the background is resurrecting a 43 year old rim blow steering wheel, and doing the same to my deluxe door panels. I hope to post up some progress by this summer. Thanks for asking buddy! (sorry to bump this thread up...but I had to reply to DDB :)

This is very impressive - I plan to purchase a kit - or if you decide to make one again - order from you.

I can't believe I had not seen this before.

    Wow, what a great job!

Brazilian Ford could have thought of something like this!

By the way, Brazilian tachometers went up to 6k RPM on the 302V8 models and 8k RPM on 2.3L 4 cil. models.

I really like this a lot, and would do it to my car if I could. I would just like the needle to be shorter.

Thanks Larry, I have actually shortened my needle from this older picture, to end where the white perimeter circle is above the numbers on the tachometer side: ( I also have also found the correct paint and repainted my pointer)

I still sell the Custom Brazilian Tach Overlays... if you are interested PM me :)

    That's ok Dave...no worries.

I still have the Overlays available...and this would look awesome in your new 73' Project.

I am also willing to do the whole mod for others now. I have sold a ton of the overlays, and currently have the whole mod being considered by a couple of members.

I have been away from the boards for awhile while I was getting married and moving into my new house, but it feels good to be back working on the Mav again. I just changed my manual brakes over to Power Disc Brakes recently, and will be continuing to break the car down in preparation for being blasted.
