Talked to the Cougar Club Rep last night. They are going to give us our Maverick/Comet Class. There will be 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place awards...Remember, your car doesn't have to be a show car. This is a MCCI Mini Meet, the more cars we have, the better it is...Even have Jerry from Idaho, going to make this Mini Meet...He has a 74 Grabber...Hope to see everyone there...

 Crap, this year is just not working out for me. My youngest daughter's birthday is on the 17th so we'll be home with the family and we are going to be on one of the islands by Nanaimo from the 27th to the 1st. The Cougar meet sounds really interesting though and it's great to see that they'll have a separate class for us. If it wasn't that I'll be spending a filthy amount of :2cents: on our world famous ferries  (we don't have a crash smilie) I could probably have afforded to skip out for the day, come home, put a permit on the Comet and come down for this one. Well, there will always be next year, right?

Yes, you are right! Well, today is the day of our first Northwest (Wash) MCCI Mini Meet...Sounds like we'll have a good turnout...will fill you in later. I'm sure you'll hear from Ray & Cliff also (they're here)...Time to go have fun...

Just walked in the door. Long drive back home. Good thing I had earplugs with me!
Thanks Cliff for making it happen and thanks Coop for putting it together. I won the "didn't get an award" award in a split decision between all the Mavericks and Comets that made it there.

Yes! It was a fun day. We had 7 cars show up for our first MCCI Mini Meet...Beautiful weather to boot! What an awesome time. Maverick/Comet people have to be the greatest...Now, Mustang people...we won't go there. We also met Jeff Ford. What a great guy. He has alot of things going for our Mavs & Comets. Told us he would keep us updated here, on the forum...Hopefully someone, will post pictures...Next MCCI Mini Meet is Sunday (July 31st) at the XXX Rootbeer Drive-In, in Issaquah. Hope to see more people & cars there...

Just got home from the Mini-Meet(Mini-me....hmm kinda simular sounding). Anyway It turned out super...best one so far in Washington State(hehe). Coop and Kathy are the absolute best hosts you could ever want...and they even let us(Sheri & myself) stay with them for a few days...you two are, without a doubt, the best. We really appreciated your kindness! I was so glad that Ray came down...wouln't have been any fun without ya bud! I even saw Marty Robbins at the show...but we asked him not to sing(good seeing you again). Ray and I both put our cars on the Dyno(we ain't afraid of no Dyno)....with vids too...to cool! We all got to talk with Jeff Ford(former Mustang&Fords Mag dude) from RRS-USA about some mega-cool front suspension options they are working on as well as a awesome rack & pinion setup that they have...all for Mavericks & Comets...I was very impressed! Can't wait to hear more! Very very cool guy! Anyway, I'm bushed...and I have to work tomorrow so thats it for now...I'll see about some pics tomorrow...

You both are welcome. Ever need a place to stay when in the states, we are here. It was nice to have Scott at the show (nice 4dr Maverick). And Bill showed up, with a new paint job (I hate you). It looks awesome....Can't wait to get mine painted. Fun was had by all....Lets do it again on the 31st...
