I totally agree with that statement! After last year, pushing the reassembly of Darryl's Maverick up until show day will NEVER happen again! :banghead: (In fact, I'm still not done with Darryl's car completely) :D

I have all intentions of socializing :tiphat: :Handshake and not stressing out over the car I'm bringing this year!

Famous saying: "You are never done with a Maverick: there's always something you can do to it"!

Well, the C4 is out...toploader is in! :whew: I still got a few minor things to do before I can test her out but it's after midnight and I've had it. Should be able to run her down the road tomorrow night. It's all downwhill from here!

    I am scrambling!

Waiting on my body shop guy to make some corrections. Got some changes and loose ends in the works. Three people could keep me from going at this point:

1-David doing the body/paint work
2-Cristina (wife) if she starts having complications with pregnancy
3-Gabriela (the daughter on the way) if she decides to show up early! :slap:She's due Aug. 24th-so we hope we are okay.

1 change in plans-brother can't go with me, Dad says he is coming along this year. :drive:

    ;)

Until today I wasnt even sure I was going. Now I `ve got to finish my rear axle swap.:smash:

Change the oil in the Maverick.
Have two tires put on my truck.
Check the truck over from bumper to bumper.(fluids, tire press, spare tire press ect.)
Load the truck with everything I`ll need to bring.
    Clean up the truck.
    Clean up the MAVERICK
Clean up the trailer. Check over the trailer.

Hardest part = Trying to sleep the night before we hit the road.:90:

We're supposed to leave out on Sunday! (echo, echo, echo...)

    Good luck to all!

    Really!
    Everyone be patient and safe.
    Measure twice, cut onces....

*Since I am putting my car back together, I am taking that extra minute to make sure I got it right the first time.....definitely not enough time to have to back track.

Only thing I have to do is clean and load. I wont even take my car out to the local cruise Saturday cause I just know something will happen.
