Just need to wash the car. **

Lauralea and I are leaving here Saturday morning. I'll be ready for that :chillpill ice cream :chillpill by Tuesday night in Owensboro!

We're taking our time, so maybe we'll run into Rick somewhere en route? :Handshake

**After I finish an unexpected brake repair tomorrow night. (Better here than in the motel parking lot)!

Okay...still got a lot of little things to do before I head out but the main thing I got accomplished was my 4 speed swap over. Mannnn...what a BIG difference. I thought my car was pretty fast before but that toploader woke her up. I guess it's the difference in the extra gear because it never pulled this strong before in 1st gear. I hope I get a chance to do a little practicing before next Thursday. I've driven nothing but automatics for the last 25 years. I'm sure I'll have the most inconsistent times of anybody but baby if nothing breaks...I'll have the most fun!

And you know what else...I don't even care if I win the first race or any awards at the car show. I'm going to have a great time seeing everyone again, being around the cars I love...but most of all...my car made the t-shirts this year!!! :29: Of course there's a drawback to that too...my t-shirt order is already up to 12. I gotta stop telling my friends and relatives about it.
    See you guys soon! ;)

my car is on the local southwestern international raceway shirt. we always put the last years track champions cars on. they changed track management last year and we got our shirts late so they didn't order a lot of extras and i have only been able to get 1 so far. i guess i'll be pretty ripe by the end of roundup.:rofl2:

Sheesh! Fix one problem, two more pop up! I decided I HAD to replace the bald tires (belts showing) on the trailer before I leave, so I took them off and threw them in the bed of the truck, and set off to get some tires. I ended up with no tires, and I wasted almost 2 hours I could have been doing something else (I should know by now that when I skip church to get something done, I don't get anything done... [IMG]). Then I get home and start putting the lock on the truck, and the tailgate won't open!!!! Argh, I can deal with that later. I picked up the lock hardware for my bed cover yesterday, and actually managed to get it installed without any problems (though It didn't come with screws ) I did drop off the wheels at NTB this morning to get the tires replaced... If I have any more problems, I might just stay home!!!! [IMG]

Well, I at least PAID for the trailer yesterday. It's supposed to be dropped off at the house today.

'Still have to purchase/intall brake controller and electrical plug.

Susie is SUPPOSED to have the tires rotated and balanced on the Rango today.
