Jim Whittaker Here. Our build is a 70 Mav and we took out the 6 for a stout 302 - 8. We also went to a tremec behind a steel bell housing. We have a center force clutch with a hydraulic throw out bearing. At the time, we thought is wouldn't be difficult to find a pedal assembly but oh we were wrong.
Does anyone have a solution for our dilemma?
    I would appreciate any help.

    Thanks,
    Jim

There are sets on eBay....but be prepared to pay the going rate. Getting tougher to find.

You can buy hanging pedals from racing companies like Speedway that will also work with after market master cylinders like Wilwood or Tilton :)

Thanks to all for reply. I'll look on Ebay. I did once before but could not find an assembly. I'm not too worried about paying market value. It's kind of last component to get on the road.
    Thanks again,

    Jim

A related question: I bought a 1967 Mustang with a 289/4 speed. Runs good, but the frame, torque boxes, cowl and floor pans are completely rotted. Looking at buying a 6 cylinder 1970 Maverick with no chassis issues for a motor/trans/pedal swap. What parts will interchange and what will I need? Just out of curiousity, since the Maverick is based on the Falcon, would the pedal assembly be interchangeable?

The engine and trans will obviously swap over...but the pedals are not a direct swap.

Interesting thought......the Mustang "done" will be worth at least double what the Maverick would be "done"....especially if it is a fastback.

Jim, if you are still looking for pedals I am swapping out the manual pedals in my sons car as he decided to go with an automatic trans.

Yes, I absolutely am still looking for the pedal assembly. Please send price you are looking for and any other info. Maybe a picture or whatever else you may think of.
Thanks so much. You're making my 17 year old very happy this morning.
