Hi, I have a '75 maverick and I am wondering if a '72 hood will fit? Can anyone tell me also if the front doors will fit?

    Yes the hood will fit.

The doors will "fit" as long as we are talking 2-door to 2-door.....4-door to 4-door. Also....the inside door handle, door panel, and arm rest would be different from 1972 to 1975.

The 72 doors are also lighter because they don't have the heavy steel guard rails attached inside the doors

I have a later set of doors in my garage and just from moving them and the 70 doors around, there is a noticeable difference - never actually weighed any of them

I weighed a '74 door with no guts inside...it weighed a good 75 pounds on the bathroom scales.
(FYI...Big rear bumper weighs 54 lbs. wo/mounts...small rear bumper w/mounts weighs 16 lbs.
Front big bumper weighs 89 lbs. w/mounts...didn't weigh the small front bumper.)

When I took my 70 doors down to Dale Doll for him to do his magic on them, he told me not to carry them by the window frame - I reminded him that they were early doors and he said "oh, they should be OK then"
