Yes, but those are just the motor mounts. You will also need the V8 frame stands.

most refer to a "302" flat tappet..."5.0" roller...
I was just wondering if it was an old 302 or a later 5.0 roller motor.

First "official" 5.0 were in the '78 Mustang II, seven years before the first roller versions... The '79 Fox Stangs were first with the 5.0 on front fenders...

Yes, which is funny because both displace 4.9 liters, not 5.0. Chevy's 305 is a 5.0.

    4.9 is not correct ether it would be 4.95 but that is getting a little sticky! 61 x 4.9 is 298.9 ! 61 x 4.95 is 301.9!

Nope. It's not even 4.95. It's 4.943 . Since it is less than 4.95, you'd round down to 4.9, not up to 5.0.
Of course boring it 030 or 040 changes that.

The reason for the 302 being called the 5.0 was back in 1966 when the Trans/AM race series first started the engine size limit was 5.0 liter! that is why both ford and Chevy built there 302 engine with 4 bore and 3 stroke to be as large as possible and still be under the limit! For Trans /Am the boss 302 and Z/28 302 were known as 5 liter engines!

The actual displacement of a Ford 302/5.0 is 301.5936 cu in... OR 4.942234 liters...

    FYI a 300/4.9 I6 is 300.08 cu in, or 4.917430L

FYI #2 Ford has lied about engine size for years ,the famed 427 is only 425Cu in(424.965)

The 428 is 427(426.544), of course since the 427 had been around for a few years, they couldn't very well call it a 427...
