    I run a full Duraspark ignition system. I also use the dizzy from a 1985 Mustang GT 5 speed car as rotorr22 and Krazy Comet suggested along with a 45,000V coil.

    Aren't some (or most) aftermarket roller cams cast iron??

    yeah.. they're called SADI cores. The hydro roller market is completely saturated with them. Premium and racier stuff gets into the billet cores. Easy to tell true billet shafts by the smooth turned shaft sections between the lobes.
