Hello. I have a '71 Maverick with a stock 200 automatic. It already has a C4 Tranny. I was thinking of switching out rear ends also. Which is the best fit, and what should I watch out for when finding one. I suppose a parts yard would be the place to look, and just want to make sure it isn't junk when I bring it home. Or is there a better place to look for it. Thanks you.
AFAIK only one 8.8" and it has a back cover... There are the WER rears that were used in Granadas but those have a 8.7" ring gear... Since granada rears fit, I'll guess that's what you have...
