Would like to raise the seat in my Mav, but would need a tilt column to get steering wheel up and out of the way also. Does anyone have any new ideas or experiences on this topic ?

    thanks !!

I believe Flaming River has a new tilt column for our cars or at least that's what they told me at the Goodguys show in Columbus. Its a generic column but they will build it to your specs. Price is fair as well.

I also would like very much to replace my column with a GM style tilt unit. What holds me back is the re wire issue. That might be more work than the the column install. Anyone have an easy solution?

ASSuming the '67 to '69 Mustang wiring pin-outs are the same, competitor's instructions on wiring the GM column to the Ford harness...
