Column shift v8 linkage C4

    Hello forum!
    As I was lowering my newly rebuilt 302 into my 75 maverick to bolt up against my newly rebuilt c4 I came to a stopping point and the party was over. No where did I catch that "adjusting" the linkage for the shifter meant I had the wrong one and it needed to be replaced! Tell me it isn't so....if it is where in the world do I find one?? As always your advice is priceless. Thanks for reading.

    6 cyl is different from the V-8 linkage.

    Maybe a good time to convert to a B&M floor mounted cable shifter? More room for headers as well.

    Yes, this is a swap. I am putting in a 302 with Hooker headers 6901. I need to know what I need to know about availability of a V8 linkage and what modifications I need to do after that?
