Was that a few bugs I saw in your air filter? Hehe that’s just the main thing about me wanting to put a screen on it. But either way it doesn’t matter. Thanks for the help guys. I was told that my scoop was from a 66 mustang but I have no clue. But I do like it allot!!!

If the bugs bother you... are you going to pick them out or just wash the car off and get rid of them?

If you wash it... chances are you'll get water in your aircleaner also... Just somethign to remember

    That's what I thought.
The repops of that scoop all say that they are correct for:
    Comet GT
    Montego/Cyclone
    Cougar/Eliminator

Thought there was one other... maybe not. I'd have to go to one of the repop websites to check.

The repop scoops MAY not be the same for the Cougar/Comet... Im not sure

But I do know factory COmet GT scoops are the same as Couger/Eliminators.

Ive heard the repops have different mounting holes than factory... thus maybe why some people say they are different.

    I was agreeing with you.
I understood that the scoop was used on Comet, Cougar, Montego...
I was using the repop claim to the same as an example.
