When I changed the brakes over on my Mustangs and Cougars, I went to NPD and bought new brake line setups for that year car. They offered them in std and stainless steel. On the Cougar, they were a tad short in the back, but still worked. Does anyone sell brake line setups for Mavericks? Will a certain year Mustang work best on a '72 Maverick? Thanks in advance, Jim
Try here http://www.rightstuffdetailing.com/ The Maverick/Comet parts are on page 6 of the Mustang section.
Thanks for the info. Has anyone ever used any Mustang brake lines on a Maverick, and if so, which year fits best? NPD is here in Ocala and if Mustang ones will work, I can drive over and pick them up locally. Jim
Not I but I bet they are very close. Try to get some measurements off your 72 Mustang and see if it looks close enough. You might have to be our guinea pig here!
Tried a '70 Mustang rear brake line across the rear end, and it was too long, and the bends are not correct. I still have it, if anyone needs it.
What about the early years, such as 65-68 where they had 8" rear ends and were shorter in length? Jim
