Anyone know if such a thing ever existed that will fit a Maverick? I am likely going to sell the '72 to a friend of mine. I am keeping my Magnum 500's that are on the car now. He just wants the stock wheels with hubcaps back on the car. I have a nice set of 4 lug wheels/tires/hubcaps on my '69.5 that would be perfect on the car, would like to convert it back to 4 lug, but keep the disc brakes up front. Maybe redrill a set of 5 lug rotors.... ? We are swapping a 200 back into the car, and might even stick the '69.5 7.5 rear under it. He just wants a cruiser that gets decent gas mileage.
Pinto would not be the same lug pattern. I seem to recall a Mustang place selling such a thing so that one can convert a 4-lug 1966 Mustang to disc brakes and keep the same wheels.
so the 4 lug rims from a fox body Stang won't fit on a 4 lug Maverick? I thought they were both 4 x 4 - 1/2 ?? Well if that is the case then I am pretty sure that the 4 lug setup from a Mustang II will fit. I have seen the Mustang II rims on a Maverick
Mustang II is 4 1/4" Fox Body Mustangs I am pretty sure are also 4 1/4" Either way......I know for a fact that neither one will fit a Maverick.
