    Hey everyone!

It's been awhile since we had my Mom's Blue Stallion with a toploader so I can't remember which tailhousing is needed to put the shifter in the factory location. I have a '72 that I'm planning the toploader for. I have the "factory" hole for the floor but just need to know which tail housing to use. I have the trans and several tail housings. A picture would be great! :bananaman Also what shifter are people using? I have a Hurst Comp Plus, so if I get the correct rods I can use that........

    Thanks!!!!!!

I have a Hurst Competition plus in mine. You need to go to the Hurst website and match your trans up to get the correct application. That is what I did, I think it links off of Summits website also.

Yes, you heard Stallion. It's a family favorite car. Our whole family are Maverick nuts! The Stalion was blue. 302 3 speed with bench seats. We put a 4 speed and buckets from a Granada in it. For a while it had 15x7 Magnum 500's and G60's. Oh yea, dual exhaust. Pretty cool ride for my Mom to drive us around in. I wanted that car so bad I could taste it but she sold it to a friend of mine and it went to hell pretty quick - Bummer.

If you still have info (and picture) of the Stallion, follow the link in my signature so it could be added to the registry!!! :thumbs2:

Well, I wish I knew where the car was, it's been about 20 or so years since I've seen or heard of it. I'll try and dig up some pictures. My guess is that it's long gone. I woild love to know what happend to it of it's still around somewhere. Hopefully updates later..............

Keep me updated! If you have the VIN, you could still add it to the registry. It's better if you have picture :)
