Does anyone know if the Vg30et and the 7mgte engines are smaller than the 302 in size? And if anyone actually tried the swap into an older muscle car. I stumbled upon this youtube video of a 7mgte swap into a 72 lemans.

Well I don't hate it... I doubt you'll get a lot of support for that kind of thing around here though. I would THINK the 302 is wider, but I know nothing about the Supra engine.

VG30ET is smaller than a 302, but it may have to sit too far forward with the factory crossover pipe that runs behind the motor and over the bellhousing. For the effort and cash you'd spend to stick one in a maverick, you may as well megasquirt and single turbo a 302.

doesnt that spectre performance maverick have a supra engine under the hood?

that car needed a mustang II front end, shock towers cut out and a custom oil pan to get the engine under the hood.

    ...damn shame 'bout that pontiac...

That 240sx still weighs around 2,700 pounds. I wouldn't be expecting a monster with a 302 in it, but it would be fun!
