Ah, c'mon, why let the thread die? To be honest I just personally wasted the last 43.68 minutes of my life on it reading each and every glimmering post with breathless anticipation. Wow. The drama! The intrigue! The suspicion! It begs the questions:

    1) Will Mr. Velasquez's lost nephew Raul ever come forward with the actual VIN list of all 303 vehicles?
    2) Will Grandma hottie come out of retirement to pose again in front of a restored Shelby Maverick?
    3) Will Discovery Channel release an episode in 2018 called "The unearthing of the Mexican Shelby"?
    4) Will this thread die, or will people like me inexplicably continue to drive it, senselessly, in lieu of more rational and interesting topics?

    ...the world waits a resolve.

    Chris

Sure they exist! Just this weekend I had mine at FunFordWeekend and parked along with us was a Boss 429 Maverick! The Boss 429 is the only engine that has ever been in this Maverick since 1971!!! :) Pics available upon request!

He needs to get with the times. He just recently got a computer. No internet service yet though. I need to get him hooked up so he can post himself. I have some more pics but for some reason, it wont let me post all of them.

That's an interesting front grille, I like it. The lights in it look a little crooked to me, but maybe that's just the pic. Either way, cool. (y)

And everybody knows, I have the only true Shelby Maverick:
