Maverick and Mustang leafs don't interchange. Some people have found J C Whitney to have springs at good prices, also ESPO.

Thanks for the info guys. I thought there was a conversion from one to the other, but JCW has what I want at a price thats fair.

I am also waiting from a set from JCW. I did this a couple of years ago if anyone remembers. It took something like 6 months to get the springs then. The problem is that the supplier to JCW cannot get the springs. They receive these in batches and are not always sure when they will get them. A few years ago I called the supplier and brought the backorder to their attention and they shipped the next week. Well, I called the supplier about 2 weeks ago and she didn't have an idea when they would get them. The are sent to them in large batches. The way she put it, they get what they can get when they can get it. My current spring backorder with JCW was placed last November.
If you need them NOW, you can pay a little more and get them NOW. If you're in no hurry (like me), you can wait it out. You may get them next week or next fall. :16suspect

Yes. You can also get them from ESPO or Maverick Connection (Chuck). I'm sure there are other places that I don't know about too. If you find another good source, please post it!

ESPO only shows to have coils, no leafs. I may call them tomorrow, and Chuck too. I called JCW tonight and was told 03/02 for a "new" shipping date...

I got my new springs from ESPO. They are very good, but a bit more than the J.C. Whitney springs. They had all the stuff to mount them, new bushings and hangars. Good luck!

on a slightly different matter, who has repro (rear lower) quarter buckets? my 70's are completely swiss cheese. I bought them a long time ago from somewhere, but they were rediculously expensive. I found this one recently http://www.showcars-bodyparts.com/maverick.html . does anyone have experience with them?
