The other day i was at the junkyard and i saw a pinto console and i thought it might fit my mav(and granada console are getting really rare out here). So last Saturday i went out there and picked it up i thrashed the a/c controls and the hole that's left is a perfect size for a modern radio head unit. And the console fit like a glove, tomorrow im gonna paint it and take pics. BTW: i have a 75 mav with the bigger dash and a column shift automatic,so im not sure if this console would fit the earlier years or the manual equipt vehicles w/o modifying it a little. p.s:im so glad to be working on my maverick again i took a year off to deal with personal issues,but yeah i want to have it driving up again by the end of summer! UPDATE: the console doesn't work with glove box mavericks(74-77 and some 73's) without some modifications...see update #3 UPDATE #2: I met a girl so that turned into more personal issues and the reason why i never got this car running and don't have much time for my maverick anymore hahaha. UPDATE #3 so with the help of another member here the issue for the console not ffitting the glovebox cars has been fixed! thanks Captain comet!

that console would be perfect for an auxiliar supported stereo, so you can place your MP3 in the console. Not like me, my ipod keeps getting lost between the seats and the transmission tunnel.
it doesnt let me ,im acessing it through my cellphone, ill post finished pics to that album tomorrow.
Finaly got a chance to paint it. i uploaded a new pic to the album,tomorrow ill upload a pic of it in the car.
